The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public that Brian Schwan, DOB 07/01/87, has registered as a Sexual Offender living in Sarasota County.
Schwan was convicted in 2018 in Maryland of Distribution of Child Pornography. He was sentenced to five years in federal prison followed by ten years of probation. Schwan was recently released and reports his address is 4396 Summertree Road in Venice. He is currently under the supervision of the United States Probation and Pretrial Services and is not allowed to live within 1,000 feet of a school, childcare facility, park or playground.
